Roy Rogers restaurants returning to Greater Cincinnati; 10 locations to open over next six years.

October 13, 2021  Roy Rogers, a Western-themed fast-food chain named after the Cincinnati-born singer and actor, is returning to the area. 

One Holland Corp. is partnering with the Roy Rogers chain to expand into the Greater Cincinnati area.  Read more here.

Long-time Lexington fine-dining icon is about to go through a historic change. 

October 13, 2021  Merrick Inn, a traditional and popular Lexington fine-dining fixture for more than 45 years, is changing hands. Jennifer and Bobby Murray, who have owned and operated the venerable restaurant on the former Thoroughbred farm, are selling the business to One Holland Restaurant Group.

More pay isn't helping some Central KY employers fill jobs.

June 25, 2021  Besides increasing everyone’s pay and providing additional bonuses, Holland implemented a tuition reimbursement program that pays up to $5,200 a year for employees attending college. In the past, he said the company hired people at a starting wage of $10 to $12 an hour. Now, he said, “we don’t even bat an eye paying them $14, $15, $16” when an applicant interviewed is clearly “a people person.”  Read more here.

Richmond LaRosa's to open on Monday.

May 21, 2021  The restaurant will include a large patio, full-service bar, and a 160-person capacity dining room. A press release for the ribbon-cutting said all of LaRosa's famous family recipe pizzas and other Italian favorites would be available for dine-in, pick-up, and delivery.

'First Watch' now hiring for new restaurant in Georgetown.

April 26, 2021  A popular breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant chain is now hiring as it plans to take over the space previously occupied by Ruby Tuesday’s off I-75 in Georgetown, according to One Holland Corporation.

March 19, 2021  The 160-seat dining room will offer dine-in, pick-up and delivery. It’s the third LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria in the Lexington area, following one on Richmond Road and a take-out only location on Southland Drive.

Residential development with Brewery, restaurants planned for Independence.

March 2, 2021   The Downs of Nicholson is expected to include a micro-brewery and tap room, a drive-through restaurant, a sit-down restaurant, and 85 two- and three-bedroom patio homes with attached two-car garages. The residential community will boast amenities like a swimming pool and clubhouse.

New restaurants opening in Brannon Crossing; first one coming this month.

December 7,  2020   The 2,700-square-foot restaurant will include a 96-seat dining room as well as a drive-thru so you can get Cincinnati chili, coneys and “ways” safely. The LaRosa’s will be 5,500 square feet and include a 160-person dining room, as well as a full-service bar and a “Buddy Room” for parties and events. November 17, 2020   Big Bleu Cheese: Ranch dressing, medium wing sauce, onions, jalapenos, chicken, provolone, blue cheese crumbles and bacon. Iconic Northern Kentucky restaurant Greyhound Tavern sold to One Holland.

November 10,  2020   The Wainscotts called Holland, 49, a prime example of the American dream who started One Holland 20 years ago with one Skyline Chili location and a love for the restaurant business.  Holland has grown his company into multiple locations of Skyline Chili, LaRosa’s Pizzeria, First Watch, and Dunkin restaurants in Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington.  Read more here.
